Our roles require people who are passionate about working with children and facilitating their development through play.

Suitable candidates will be honest, reliable and hardworking with a positive approach. You will be fully supported in your role by an established management structure.

In addition to excellent rates of pay, Energy Kidz also invest in staff training and development and will support staff to access desired relevant qualifications, as well as Safeguarding, Prevent and Paediatric First Aid courses.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Plan activities with the children
  • Organise play areas, materials and equipment
  • Give children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way
  • Encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children
  • Encourage independence and self-esteem
  • Ensure Safeguarding procedures are adhered to

If you have experience of working within the childcare sector and are passionate about maximising opportunity for primary aged children, you can become a Club Manager of an Energy Kidz team. Our Club Managers demonstrate strong leadership skills to support and motivate their individual teams whilst ensuring the smooth running of our Term Time or Holiday Clubs to uphold the high standards of childcare we expect.  Your responsibilities include:

  • Leads and motivates a team of staff to deliver high quality play opportunities in a safe and caring environment
  • Encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children
  • Encourage independence and self-esteem
  • Talk to children about their concerns or worries
  • Deal with injuries and emergencies
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals

You will be working closely with our supportive Head Office team, providing feedback on all aspects of the club. We expect you to adhere to our Ofsted Outstanding expectations and if required, will support you with access to various training and development programs to support you through this.

If you are self motivated leader with experience and a passion for childcare, playwork and management, you can become an Area Manager for our Ofsted Outstanding clubs. Our Area Managers thrive in a fast-paced role with no two days the same and work closely with their line managers to deliver the high standards we expect throughout our business. Your responsibilites will include:

  • To advise and support club staff in their role whilst ensuring company Policies, Procedures and the Business Operating Manual are adhered to at all times.
  • To have effective communication with both staff and Head Office, motivating staff and disseminating Company information in a clear manner.
  • To ensure the safety and welfare of the children is maintained within the context of Energy Kidz Policies and Procedures and Ofsted requirements.
  • To be able to elicit and listen to views of stakeholders using a variety of methods. These may include children, parents, schools, Local Authorities.
  • To lead on recruitment following Safer Recruitment guidelines and liaising with Human Resources, local advertising and interviewing.

A full training programme along with the support of an experienced team is always provided to aid you in your role.
